Secretary of State Ross Miller Expands Expedited Commercial
Recording Services in Reno Office

Reno, NV – Expanded services for expediting commercial filings are now being provided at the Secretary of State's Reno-Sparks office. The Commercial Recordings Division office will provide a more convenient and centralized location for Reno-Sparks area businesses that need to file various documents with the Secretary of State, including articles of incorporation or organization, amendment and initial, amended and annual list filings. The new office will not, however, accept UCC and trademark documents, which can only be filed in the Carson City and Las Vegas offices.

I'm proud that we've been able to extend the services of the Secretary of State's office by shifting our resources, and not having to add to our budget or personnel," said Secretary of State Ross Miller. "One of my priorities is to bring the services of this office closer to the people that need them. We want to make the services of the Secretary of State as accessible as possible. This office will provide expedite-only services on a one, two, or 24 hour basis. Additionally, the office will continue to support our aggressive enforcement of securities regulations."
