(Carson City, NV; March 27, 2012) — Registered voters with Department of Motor Vehicle-issued identification in Clark County can now change their address and party affiliation through the online voter registration system on Secretary of State Ross Miller’s website.
Registered voters visit the “Election Center” at www.nvsos.gov and access their voting information by entering their first and last names, date of birth, and driver’s license number or social security number. From there, they can update their address or change their party affiliation without completing a paper application and submitting it to the Clark County registrar of voters.
Online voter registration is currently only available to residents with DMV-issued identification in Clark County. The Elections Division is collaborating with all Nevada counties to launch online voter registration this spring prior to the primary and general elections.
Eligible voters, who are presently registered in any other Nevada county but are living in Clark County, may now also register in Clark County with the online voter registration system, which is federally funded by the Help America Vote Act.
To find information about registering to vote, visit the “Election Center” on the Secretary of State’s website, www.nvsos.gov, or by clicking here.
