WHAT:     Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller, with Matt Boehmer of the Federal Voting Assistance Program, will be testifying before the Committee on House Administration’s hearing on “Military and Overseas Voting in 2012.”

WHY:       The Committee on House Administration is examining ways to improve the voting process for military and overseas voters. As the immediate past president of the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), Miller was instrumental in leading the movement to ease the voting process for the military and overseas citizens in 2012, nationally and in Nevada. Miller toured the Middle East with U.S. Department of Defense officials in September 2012 to gain first-hand knowledge of these voting issues.
