Please be advised that the Secretary of State’s Office website (nvsos.gov) will redirect customers for business filings to SilverFlume Nevada’s Business Portal (nvsilverflume.gov) as of 5 PM PT today.
The Secretary of State’s Office has introduced enhanced functionality for business customers via SilverFlume, Nevada’s Business Portal. In August 2012 and on the nvsos.gov login pages, the Secretary of State announced to his customer base this redirect to Silverflume, Nevada’s Business Portal from the existing Secretary of State web services. This redirect will occur the evening of November 15, 2012.
The majority of customers will be redirected automatically from our current web services at nvsos.gov to SilverFlume starting the evening of November 15, 2012, where you may continue to file as you always have with just a few changes and new valuable features.
For those of you currently using “bots” (automated programs) against the existing online filing site, you may continue to do so; however, you will need to provide the office the authorized IP addresses accessing the system. Registered agents may also utilize the nvsos.gov services by completing the access form.
Please contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org) regarding access to the nvsos.gov services. Please be advised that the existing nvsos.gov services will be phased out and the screens retired as we continue forward with SilverFlume and further develop business-to-government (B2G) solutions. It is incumbent on our customers to be aware of SilverFlume services. We will give ample notice as to when exiting nvsos.gov services will be retired.
Please also be aware that effective immediately, filings associated with trust accounts with insufficient balances to cover the costs of filings will be rejected. Trust account holders must ensure that their accounts have sufficient balances to cover any online or in-house filings.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
