(Carson City, NV; October 29, 2012) – Secretary of State Ross Miller reminds candidates that the deadline to file the fourth campaign contributions and expenses (C&E) report of the year is 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012. All C&E reports must be filed electronically through the Secretary of State’s Aurora campaign finance disclosure database, which will then be immediately available on the website to the general public.

“Aurora and the requirement for all C&E reports to be filed electronically in one common database bring a new level of transparency to our process,” said Miller.

C&E Report #4, to be filed by November 2, 2012, will cover campaign contributions and expenses from October 13, 2012 through November 1, 2012.

The filing deadline for the remainder of the 2012 election cycle is:

C&E Report #5: January 15, 2013 (for the period of November 2 through December 31)

Candidates are required to file even if they received no contributions or spent any funds during the respective reporting periods. Candidates who lost in the primary election are also required to file all five C&E reports.
