All Parties Increase Voter Registration Numbers in October

(Carson City, NV; November 1, 2013) – Continuing the previous two months’ trend, voter registration numbers increased for all parties in October 2013, as shown by data released today by Secretary of State Ross Miller’s Elections Division. The number of statewide registered active voters increased by 2,617 from the previous month. Democrats increased their party number by 671; Republicans, 224; nonpartisan, 1,146; Independent American, 383; and other minor parties, 193.

Of the 1,265,094 active registrants statewide, 41.95% (530,760) are Democrats, 34.28% (433,722) are Republicans, 17.68% (223,707) are nonpartisan, 4.73% (59,825) are members of the Independent American Party, and the remaining 1.35% (17,080) are members of the Libertarian or other minor parties.
