2002 RECOUNT RESULTS
Lander County Sheriff
Nevada Revised Statute ("NRS") 293.403 provides that any defeated candidate may demand and receive a recount of the votes for the office the candidate sought. Lennie Shepherd, candidate for Lander County Sheriff, requested a recount of the September 3, 2002 Primary Election results. Of the 9 voting precincts within the Lander Sheriff's seat, 3 precinct's results were recounted by hand on Wednesday, September 11th, 2002.
