2000 RECOUNT RESULTS

Nevada Revised Statute 293.403 provides that any defeated candidate may demand and receive a recount of the votes for the office the candidate sought. Kirk Vitto, candidate for Fifth Judicial District Court Judge, Department 2, requested a recount of the November 7, 2000 General Election results. The Fifth Judicial District Court is composed of three counties: Esmeralda, Mineral and Nye. Following are the results of the recount as provided by the respective counties.
